A Professional Wedding Photographer in kent…

Hello, I’m Dee

Being camera shy myself, I'm very sensitive to how you might feel in front of the camera on your wedding day. 9 out of 10 couples tell me they feel awkward, so it's my job to make you feel comfortable and at ease. My photography style is therefore natural and documentary.

I'm a professional wedding and portrait photographer with a Gallery Studio based in Kent on The Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells, covering locations across Kent and the UK far and wide. I've been shooting weddings for a long time now, and I'm so glad you're here.

I’ve always been really curious about people, emotions, expressions and relationships. I love people. I love ‘love’. And I love a good wedding! So a wedding photographer was the most natural business for me.

I’ve met so many wonderful couples along the way, and captured their most treasured moments. It’s never just about taking photos. It’s about capturing and keeping the beautiful story of YOUR wedding alive. It’s these qualities that I pride myself and my photography business on.

Kind Words from Sam, Kent

Dee is a lovely warm lady who did a brilliant job as our Wedding photographer. For a bride who doesn’t like her photograph taken she instantly put me at ease she was attentive, personable and professional.

Why Choose me as your wedding photographer

I’m known for providing an elegant yet relaxed wedding photography service (see my Google Reviews). I’ll keep your photography as natural as possible without forcing you to pose awkwardly; and I plan your wedding like a military operation so that you’re relaxed on the big day.

I’ve also created a beautiful space designed just for you. There are not many other wedding photographers with businesses like mine. I’ve opened up a Wedding Photography Gallery and Studio on The Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells. This allows you to come in, see frames and albums of work up close and personal to really see what you’ll get in your wedding photography. I’m incredibly proud of this space, because being able to actually flick through, touch and feel is far greater than trying to get an idea scrolling online. So if you’re not too far away, it would definitely be worth a visit so we can discuss your wedding plans (over a glass or two of fizz!).

The service I provide is as elegant as the gallery!

When I put my camera down….

I’m a selfie geek when I don’t have a camera. Yes, I’m one of those people who takes selfies all the time, takes photos of me and my dog (my little furbaby Bertie!) and my food!

I love being at home and I love being around my family, especially when my kids (if you can call them that - they’re in their mid/late 20s) are at home. The feeling of love, fun and happiness is what I live for. I always want everyone to be happy. I’m sure that’s why I shoot weddings and family portraits.

I love horse racing too…..I mean really love it! I have racehorses myself and I named my first love after me. She’s called Dees’ Dream (if you’re interested in a flutter) and she’s absolutely beautiful! We kind of have the same hairdo!

I have a genuine love for humanity, and I believe we are designed to serve each other. Whether it’s serving my clients or giving back to people who need a loving, helping hand in life.

“If we have no peace, it is because we have forgotten that we belong to each other.” [Mother Teresa]

I have this need in me to give my support to people who need support. I can’t stand homelessness - we should all have a home, and I’m heartbroken when children suffer. I’m so incredibly grateful for my own life and I’m humbled by the fact I can always give something back - we all can.

Living and working around Tunbridge Wells, I love that I can support little people coming up in their lives. I support 2 schools in Tunbridge Wells, and I shoot for Taylor Made Dreams - the most beautiful little charity that helps children with life limiting illness.

More recently I did a little tour of South Africa, Botswana and Zambia with hubby and I was looking forward to my return trip to Zambia before I even left there.

I’m due back in 2024 to roll my sleeves up and help out in a village school. A small village where beautiful humans are still building their little homes out of mud. Those beautiful little children.

I just want everyone to be ok. I can’t save the world, but if I can touch just one precious life, one at a time….. it’s what I’m born to do xx
